General Responsibilities

The Staff Therapist intake specialist for Child Welfare will provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative/education services to residents in CMHC’s designated service area.

The primary responsibility of this position will be:

to act as liaison to the county departments of child welfare to coordinate referral and provide level of care assessments with recommendations for services for consumers who interface with the child welfare agencies.

to provide as needed consultation to Child Welfare Family Case Managers face to face via Child and Family Team meetings and via telephone.
